Golden Ratio

The golden ratio is a mathematical constant approximately equal to 1.618033988749895. It is often denoted by the Greek letter φ (phi). Ratios of consecutive Fibonacci numbers converge to the golden ratio.

Fibonacci

Fibonacci was an Italian mathematician from the Republic of Pisa, he introduced Europe to the "Fibonacci sequence", which he used as an example in Liber Abaci.

Fibonacci Sequence

The Fibonacci spiral is an approximation of the golden spiral created by drawing circular arcs connecting the opposite corners of squares in Fibonacci sequence tiling. This is often illustrated overlaid on a seashell.

Calì, also written in English as Cali, is an Italian surname, widespread mainly in the Ionian side of Sicily. The origin of surname Calì is thought to be from the Greek word kalos (beautiful), or from its Sanskrit root kali (time).

Onda is the Italian word for wave. It refers to water waves, electromagnetic waves (light waves), or a surge of emotion. The Italian word "onda" is a nod to Fibonacci.
